Introduction
SCP backend system documentation.
This backend system is the central management console for the SCP investment platform.
It provides administrators and developers with all the necessary tools to manage investors, portfolios, reports,
communications, and support functions.
The SCP backend ensures smooth operations by allowing admins to monitor investor activities,
handle referrals, send updates, and maintain system security through role-based user management and activity logs.
It also includes developer utilities for data imports and integrations.
Core Features
-
Dashboard:
The dashboard is the central overview screen of the backend, giving admins a quick snapshot of the overall investment platform performance.
It displays key financial and investor metrics in real-time, helping the admin team monitor growth and activities at a glance.
The dashboard includes the following insights: All Time Investment, Total Investors, Monthly Investments etc.
Overall, the dashboard acts as a real-time control panel, offering admins a quick and data-driven understanding of platform performance, investor engagement, and financial outcomes. - Investors: This section contains a complete list of all registered investors in the system. From here, admins can manage investor records, including adding new investors, editing personal details (such as name, contact information, and KYC details), and deleting investors if required. Additionally, admins can view each investor's portfolio and investment history, making it easier to track their activities and performance.
- Portfolio Import: This functionality allows admins to import the portfolio of any investor into the system. Admins can upload files or sync data from external sources, which will automatically update the investor's profile with their latest investments, holdings, and related financial details. This ensures that the portfolio is always up to date without requiring manual entry.
- SCP Reports: SCP (Statements, Compliance & Performance) reports include detailed investment summaries and performance insights for investors. Reports will be accessible to investors directly through the mobile app, helping them stay informed about their investment growth and compliance requirements.
- Referrals: Investors can refer new potential members directly from the mobile app. All referred contacts appear in this section for admin review. The admin team can then follow up with the referred individuals, verify their details, and onboard them as new investors if they meet the eligibility criteria.
- Support: Investors can raise support tickets or report issues from within the mobile app. All such tickets are listed here for the admin and support teams to track, assign, and resolve.
- Emails: Admins can compose and send bulk or individual emails to investors from this section. This includes sending important announcements, portfolio updates, compliance reminders, or newsletters. Emails can be sent to all investors, or selected individuals, making communication efficient and targeted.
- Users: This module manages admin panel access. Super admins can create new users (internal staff or team members), assign them roles and permissions, and edit or delete existing users. This ensures that only authorized personnel have access to sensitive investor and portfolio data.
- Internal Imports: This feature is designed strictly for developers. It allows importing all investor data in bulk directly into the database, typically used for initial setup, migrations, or testing. Running this will reset or overwrite existing database records, which may cause data loss. Therefore, it should not be used by standard admins.
- Logs: This section provides a complete activity log of all system events and user actions within the admin panel. It records activities such as login attempts, data modifications, report generation, email dispatch, and support interactions.
